Process

The process is as important as the product

WE START BY LISTENING, CLOSELY. This is the only way to gain a precise understanding of your goals and vision for your project. We note your strategic communication goals, the nature of your target audience, what makes your organization unique and your current communication strategies and products.

We have a saying around the office, “The process is as important as the product.” Our clients tell us that the NCI process of conducting interviews not only produces compelling sound bites, but also puts subjects at ease, makes them feel respected and ultimately transforms the way they feel about the organization.

In one instance we purposely interviewed several people opposed to our client’s business endeavor. We listened and let them give voice to their concerns. Somewhere in the process their positions softened and they actually began to see connections between their work and the client’s. They ultimately became supporters of our client’s position.

This is the kind of thought we put into every phase of our work.
