NCI to Produce Two National Interactive Training Packages for Transit Providers

WASHINGTON, June 11, 2007 – Colorado based Communiqué USA and NCI Communications, Inc. today were awarded a contract to produce two new multimedia training packages for the nation’s transit providers. The contract was awarded by The Federal Transit Administration’s National Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP).

The project involves producing two training packages that include revised student texts and an accompanying interactive DVD training package. One package focuses on the roles and responsibilities of transit board members while the other highlights safety and security procedures for transit operators.

The products will feature current industry best practices, interviews with industry leaders, short videos, and interactive graphics and tests.

“The beauty of interactive training is people can experience the material in a much more engaging way,” said Mark Amann, NCI Vice President. “You read the content, explore images and interactive graphics, watch videos that reinforce key concepts and listen to words of wisdom from industry leaders.”

Both training packages are expected to be debuted at the Spring 2008 Community Transportation Association of America conference.
